Who We Are:
Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (known as “Vincentians”) are men and women who together strive to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to neighbors in need. We invite you to stop by the front of the Church on any Saturday morning between 8 and 9, see what we do, and ask a question or two.

The Giving Trees are back this year in the rear of the Church. They are decorated with gift requests from
several organizations serving the needy in the Santa Clara valley. Please consider helping out by taking home a gift tag and fulfilling someone’s Christmas wish. Gift cards or wrapped gifts should be returned to the Church with the original tag attached
no later than Sunday, December 14.
.

Food Cards for Holidays: Please help local needy residents whose meal resources have been reduced due to the suspension of the SNAP program. Please buy a Safeway or Target card (suggested amount $25), WRITE the dollar amount on the card packaging, and put it in the designated boxes near the exits and at the back of the Church.
We will give the cards to deserving families in December.

Thanksgiving Food Box Distribution: We thank the Aaron, Anthony, DeSilva, George and Joseph families, as well as our regular Saturday volunteers, for the annual St. Vincent de Paul Thanksgiving boxing packing and delivering healthy and bountiful Thanksgiving food boxing event. Through the efforts of SVDP—and your continued generosity—we were able to prepare Thanksgiving food boxes for eighteen needy local families on November 22.
*We also thank the generous parishioner who donated three hundred eggs for the boxes.

Thank you for always sharing God’s blessings and for
embodying the spirit of compassion and service.
May God bless you abundantly!

Giving Tree:
ONE MORE WEEK to buy, wrap and return your gift! The Giving Trees in the rear of the Church is decorated with gift requests from several organizations serving the needy in the Santa Clara valley. Please consider taking home a gift tag and fulfilling someone’s Christmas wish. Gift cards or wrapped gifts should be returned to the Church with the original tag securely attached no later than next Sunday, December 14th.

Neighbor-to-Neighbor Assistance:
We wish to thank all of the parishioners who generously give to our SVdP conference. Your donations make it possible for us to help many needy families during these difficult economic times. In November, we helped twenty-three families with assistance including $1,600 in grocery gift cards and food, $3,500 in rent payments, $2,003 in transportation expenses, $200 in assistance to other conferences, thirty-nine bags of groceries from our pantry and eighteen Thanksgiving boxes.

Food Cards for Holidays:

Please help local needy residents whose meal resources have been reduced due to the suspension of the SNAP program. Please buy a Safeway or Target card (suggested amount $25), WRITE the dollar amount on the card packaging, and put it in the designated boxes near the exits and at the back of the Church. We will give the cards to deserving families this month and next month.
