Join us every Wednesday, beginning this September 3, 2025 at 7:00 PM in the Youth Room of the Farana Center for an enriching and enlightening evening.
Our former pastor, Fr. Phong who graciously volunteered his time, will guide us through the upcoming Sunday Gospel, helping us uncover its meaning and relevance for our lives. Each one-hour session includes an explanation of the Gospel and, as time permits, an open Q&A for your questions.
Come grow in faith, understanding, and community! Invite your friends—everyone is welcome!

Loving The Mass, Loving Jesus (Week 1 of 4)
September 7, 2025
We begin our special homily series on the parts of the Mass with a focus on the Introductory Rites. These opening moments are not simply a prelude before the “real” Mass begins. The entrance procession, the veneration of the altar, and the Sign of the Cross set the tone: we are entering into holy worship. The greeting, “The Lord be with you,” reminds us that Christ Himself is in our midst. The Act of Penance and the Kyrie (“Lord, have mercy”) purify our hearts, while the Gloria lifts our praise to God. The Collect gathers all our prayers into one, offered to the Father through Christ.
Fr. Mark and Fr. Louis will help us rediscover how these opening rites are not routine words but a sacred doorway into the mystery of the Eucharist. All are welcome!
